Founded in 1963, the Alabama Society for Healthcare Engineering is a professional society devoted exclusively to the education and development of skills and standards of the engineering discipline as performed in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

AlaSHE activities help members to further develop their professional abilities and provide opportunities for members to exchange ideas and keep abreast of their discipline through its’ meetings and contacts with other members.
